In March of 2021 TWSAFM (Together We Stand As Family Members) In Houston, Texas!!

This year's family reunion is hosted by Taariq Muhammad, Son of Denise Huntley (Madyun), Grand-Son of Jackie Madyun (West), who has now lived in Houston since 2014. He's being assisted by his brother, Taj, and sisters Tia & Tiarra, who all now live in Houston also.

Taariq simply missed being able to see all his family in one place and in organized fashion how the elders were able to do it back when he was just a child. So in August of 2019, he made his first attempt by organizing a family trip to New Orleans, Louisiana. To his surprise, he was able to bring together over 30 of our family members! The positive feedback and encouraging words really inspired him and gave him confidence that he maybe able to do it again but EVEN BIGGER!!

So here we are. Approaching the end of 2019, with a full year to plan and save for hopefully one of the biggest family reunions we've seen to date. The exact dates will be realeased very soon, but the plan is to have everyone come together and experience Houston! So far 52 people, that's right FIFTY-TWO PEOPLE have RSVP'd that they are coming and we anticipate no less than 75 in total being in attendance. We are so excited to get us all together again.

Why should you sponsor?

Sponsoring this event will absolutely help a family who has had some trouble getting everybody together due to factors like finances and distance.

But more importantly to you, sponsoring this event would be great advertising for your brand and/or business. With close to 100 attendees, you are taking advantage of the opportunity to reach hundreds or thousands of social media users through the many pictures posted by the attendees themselves. Residual exposure would also be created through the T-shirts being made that will include your brand and/or business name as a sponsor. Not mention the many attendees that may even become actual repeat customers of yours!

My name is Taariq Muhammad. I am a 35 year old single father who currently works as a Senior Operations Manager for REEF Parking in Houston, TX. I have lived in the area for nearly 6 years. You can look me up on Facebook and LinkedIn and see that I am a trustworthy person. My grandmother used to organize the family reunions and after she died, they have just never been the same. So my motivation for seeking out sponsorship is different in that it is purely to assist in re-igniting a family tradition that was almost lost but does wonders for current and future generations to come.
