    About Devotions Winnipeg Spring Conference

Taking place Jan 9th, 2016 at the RBC Convention Center, the Devotions Winnipeg Spring Conference aims to bring together with a purpose of spreading the love of Jesus, where thousands upon thousands of people give their lives to Christ. With passionate speakers, entertainers, talented musicians and a program sure to encourage and inspire, we are looking to do our part in raising money to help services in Winnipeg.

We can affect change for the Homeless in our City

Siloam Mission’s programs and services are provided free of charge, with dignity and respect, and without discrimination. They serve hundreds of people every day, lending a helping hand to those who need it most. Siloam Mission has also taken up the cause to invest in a transition services building that helps guests move forward in their lives through goal setting, weekly meetings, support and accountability. It is so important that we roll up our sleeves and accomplish this great mission God has given us. Partial proceeds from the event will be donated to Siloam Mission to continue their great work and serve the homeless in Winnipeg.

Today, World Vision is a Christian relief, development, and advocacy organization working to create lasting change in the lives of children, families, and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. Inspired by our Christian values, World Vision is dedicated to working with the world’s most vulnerable people regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender. World Vision will be a part of Devotions Winnipeg Conference as together we can make a difference.

Since arriving on the scene in 1985 in their native Australia, the Newsboys have taken Christian music by storm. Nearly thre e decades later, the iconic band is an undisputed industry leader, garnering six gold albums; 8 million units in career sales; 33 #1 singles; multiple GRAMMY® and American Music Award nominations; and signature hits ranging from “He Reigns” and “Born Again” to their recent 15week charttopper, “We Believe.” Expanding their reach into film, the band appeared in the 2014 Pure Flix hit, “God’s Not Dead,” inspired by their song of the same name. Currently comprised of drummer Duncan Phillips; lead vocalist Michael Tait; guitarist Jody Davis; and keyboardist Jeff Frankenstein, the Newsboys’ latest recording, Hallelujah For The Cross, marks their firstever collection of hymns. Come see Newsboys at DW Conference 2016!!!

It’s not just music, lights, or concerts for Canadian band, The Color. With Godgivenmusical talent and the grit for touring, The Color make music to answer the question our Maker puts to us all eventually, “What did you do with what I gave you?” For The Color, consisting of frontman Jordan Janzen, guitarist James Shiels, guitarist Larry Abrams and drummer Tyler Martens, it’s living and breathing songs that speak truth and bring healing into the messy places of the soul. The band released their debut selftitled album in 2012 after forming around the magnetic voice of lead vocalist, Jordan Janzen. For Jordan, The Color was a resurgence of the dream of fulltime music, sparked a second time after taking a stepback from a solo career that began in high school and included a successful stint on Canadian Idol in 2008 which brought him just short of the ‘Top 20’.

Speakers who will be a part of our Conference will include: Mike Zachman who is the lead Pastor at the Point Church and is the Host of the Point Live Radio Ministry. In addition we have Pastor James Rowson coming to speak.Elder James L. Rowson, Jr., a native of MountVernon , New York, acknowledged the call to minister God’s Holy Word at thetender age of 16. A gifted musician, composer , worship leader and spiritual teacher, Rowson has worked in various spiritual capacities throughout his life. By God’s Grace, in October of 2002, Rowson and his wife, Andrena, founded Kingdom Life Ministries in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The church continues to experience growth and maturity. In January 2011, Kingdom Life expanded its reach to Columbia, South Carolina. Under the leadership of Elder Rowson, both congregations continue to experience rapid development and progression. Rowson attributes the church’s steady growth to its holistic approach in addressing the needs of all mankind.
