About the event
AIXelerate is a student-led 501c3 competition that brings together ambitious high school students to develop and pitch technology-driven solutions to real-world challenges.
Participants work in teams to identify problems, build prototypes, and present their ideas to industry professionals, educators, and community leaders. We provide students with AI credits and a theme to base a project around, and bring in many industry expert judges who will mentor the students along their build session.
We are in talks with the University of Portland for venue and catering services, looking to host the event on January 16, 2027.
The reason we are growing this competition is to provide an accessible high school level competition that lets new ideas be seen.

Vishakh ArumugachamyMy name is Vishakh Arumugachamy, and I am a high school student attending Westview High School as a sophomore. Earlier this year, me and a group of friends found this emerging gap for students where a lot of them weren't using AI at its fullest potential, using mainly Gemini for math homework. In order to attempt to bridge this gap, we are starting a school club system spanning 10+ schools in Oregon, Washington, Massatchusets, and Texas, while still growing. Too unite all these individual clubs, we started the company: AIXelerate Challenge. This non profit is a competition hub that as of right now is hosting our first statewide event this January, which is where we will need your help.
