About the event

Event Name: Animeverse: The Digital Otaku Quest & Innovation Forge Event Type: Technical Challenge (Treasure Hunt + Hackathon)

Proposed by: Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), USAR

Target Audience: All undergraduate students with an interest in anime, technology, problem-solving, or software development.

Animeverse is an innovative, two-round event designed to merge the captivating world of anime with the intellectual thrill of technology. It challenges participants' knowledge, strategic thinking, and technical skills. The event is structured to be highly interactive and engaging, encouraging teamwork and creativity.

● Round 1: The Digital Otaku Quest is a campus-wide digital treasure hunt where teams of three will search for QR-code posters themed around popular anime franchises. By solving technical computing questions, they will "claim" digital cards to qualify for the next round.

● Round 2: The Anime Innovation Forge is a rapid-prototyping hackathon where the qualifying teams will build a tech-based solution for a problem statement related to the anime franchises they collected cards for in the first round.

The GGSIPU USAR ACM Student Chapter was launched in 2019 to promote a strong computing and problemsolving culture at GGSIPU.
