As we prepare for NYC Belize Parkfest 2026, we proudly reflect on the
incredible achievements and impactful partnerships that made these
events a resounding success. This festival brought together hundreds of
attendees, celebrating Belizean culture through music, food, and
community engagement.
Key Accomplishments:
-Cultural Celebration & Community Engagement
NYC Belize Parkfest provided an immersive experience of Belizean
heritage, featuring performances from renowned Belizean artists,
traditional Garifuna drumming, and dynamic cultural showcases. The
festival served as a bridge between generations, preserving and
promoting Belize’s rich traditions while strengthening community ties.
-Authentic Belizean Marketplace
We expanded our vendor marketplace, offering a diverse array of
Belizean cuisine, handcrafted goods, and cultural artifacts. This platform
empowered Belizean-owned businesses, artisans, and entrepreneurs,
fostering economic opportunities while giving festivalgoers an authentic
taste of Belize.
-Strategic Partnerships & Sponsorship Growth
NYC Belize Parkfest saw a significant increase in corporate sponsorship,
government and community partnerships. Notably, the Belize Tourism
Board played a pivotal role in enhancing our festival lineup, facilitating
the participation of emerging Belizean artists and strengthening cultural
connections between Belize and its diaspora in the U.S.

-Impactful Fundraising for Community Initiatives
Through our 501(c)(3) nonprofit initiatives, we successfully raised
funds to contribute to our programs throughout the year. Our
proceeds contributed to:
•Supporting the Belizean Diaspora with a Financial Literacy class
with a Partnership with TD Bank.
•Providing Uniforms and Water bottles for Ace football club in
Belize.
•Strengthening the community with a Know Your Rights Zoom to
protect against the ICE fear with a partnership with the New York
Immigration Coalition.
-These milestones underscore our commitment to cultural
enrichment, economic empowerment, and social impact. As we
move forward to NYC Belize Parkfest, we are eager to expand our
reach, deepen our community engagement, and build even
stronger partnerships to elevate the festival experience.
