About the event

SKRAVEX is a community driven skate and music festival created by Shadowbeats NYC. The event brings together skateboarders, DJs, artists, and the local community for an evening of skateboarding, music, and culture. Our goal is to create a welcoming space where people can connect, express themselves, and celebrate New York City’s skate scene.

My name is Alex Quijano, founder of Shadowbeats NYC. I created SKRAVEX to bring together skateboarding, music, and community through independent events that are welcoming, creative, and accessible. My focus is on building experiences that support local artists, DJs, skateboarders, and the culture that connects them while growing SKRAVEX into an annual community event.
