King Manor hosts an annual cocktail party to raise funds for our educational programming. It's a fun evening full of friends, live music, passed hors-d'oevres, and tasty beverages!
Come enjoy yourself on September 17 at 6pm and help King Manor keep making history relevant for over 5,000 students every year!
King Manor is the only historic house in Southeast Queens, a rapidly growing, but underserved neighborhood. This is your opportunity to make a big different in an up-and-coming community. King Manor provides free and low-cost quality educational programming to thousands of school children and families every year. Visit the house of founding father and anti-slavery advocate Rufus King and leave with an appreciation for local history and a life-long love of learning. We focus on developing skills for our democracy's future, like literacy, civics, and most of all, critical thinking.
Est. 1900, King Manor is the second-longest running house museum in New York City. We work with the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation and the Historic House Trust of NY to preserve this historic property and share it with visitors from our neighborhood and around the world.
