About the event

This is a motorcycling day out at its best!  St Ives town council are very supportive and they allow the festival to take over the whole town centre, centred on the market square. Free to enter, close to plenty of parking and the beautiful River Great Ouse quayside. The town centre pubs and cafés offer a chance to have a sit down, its a family friendly event and everybody is welcome. The festival brings together motorcyclists, enthusiasts, showbikes, clubs, traders, motorcycle dealers, families and all interested parties in a safe and relaxed environment with plenty of food and drinks available, live music and all right in the heart of the main shopping area of St Ives.

Why should you sponsor?

St Ives Festival of Motorcycles is completely non-profit. All funds raised go to the two chosen charities: MAGPAS air ambulance and The Poppy Appeal. All committee members and staff on the day are volunteers.  Therefore this is a chance for the sponsors to reach their target audience while supporting a well-received, popular charitable event. Its a total win for the sponsor's prominence and standing in the community.

I am one of a committee of 9 people who are working without financial reward to produce the fourth St Ives Festival of Motorcycles. I publish a small local magazine in Huntingdonshire called 'My Friend' and have offered to support the festival with advertising space in the magazine.

My task on the committee is to raise sponsorship. Sponsorship which will be of benefit to our business and trade supporters, and also allow us to give more to the chosen charities.
