About the event
The Second Saturday Series, presented by the Legato Foundation, is bi-monthly recital series featuring local Long Island based classical musicians in various venues throughout Long Island, NY. Each event features 60-minutes of music followed by a meet and greet with the artist.
We will begin our 3rd season of this series on October 13, 2019 and it will run until May 2020.
Why should you sponsor?
Sponsors will be interested in supporting this series as it provers them with access to a wide variety of potential new customers. Each event attracts 30-100 spectators from a large cross sections of Long Island, NY.
Christopher Gotzen-BergThe Legato Foundation is a 501c3 arts nonprofit dedicated to supporting and developing classical music throughout Long Island, NY. We produce multiple concert and recitals throughout the year which feature both local talent as well an world renowned artists.
The Legato Foundation also produces arts-in-education opportunities through its program the “Long Island Guitar Project” and its community outreach group the “Long Island Guitar Orchestra”.
